Reliability Engineer.

Due to continual growth, we are now looking for an experienced Reliability Engineer to join our team based in the Cheddar


Responsible for assisting our customers in the development and management of their maintenance strategies. With a view to helping our customers maintain safe and efficient fixed assets. This role will include people management and budgetary/cost reporting.

Overall Purpose of the Role:

Lead customer Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure. Responsible for planned scheduling creation and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out. Increase customer operational effectiveness, assist on the improvement of, mean time between failure and downtime reduction. Drive Internal and customer Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to. Manage the team on technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilst also mentoring and leading the department. Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.

Qualifications and Experience Levels:

  • Relevant engineering degree is preferred, or HND, BTec Professional Level 5 Award or equivalent NVQ Level 5 qualification.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Clean driving license.
  • Experience in material handling advantageous
  • Experience in change management
  • Experience in CMMS implementation.

Salary structure:

£35000 with company car
